Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding
On the end of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in‘ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, especially aims to improve the quality of life for the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ‘ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
