Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion, Elder Care, and Community
On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.
Social transport services, support centers, listening, and gathering services will also be enhanced.
