Cornuda Social Support Initiative Promotes Inclusion and Community Care
On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, social support systems, listening centers, and community gathering places will also be enhanced.
