Tremosine: Elderly Man Rescued After Car Leaves Road Near Bern, Helicopter Transported

A car left the road in the area of **Berna, in Tremosine**, ending below the roadway at around **11:30 yesterday**. The vehicle came to a stop roughly **30 metres** further down, triggering the alarm.

Firefighters from the **Tremosine volunteer detachment**, along with crews from **Riva del Garda** and the **Forest Police**, were called to the scene. Rescue operations to reach the car and secure the occupant lasted about **one hour**. A man of around **70 years old** was trapped inside the cabin and was then handed over to medical staff, before being transferred by **helicopter** to hospital for checks and treatment.
