On Sunday, October 4, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the third edition of the Autumn Children’s Day will take place at Parco Giardino Sigurtà in Valeggio sul Mincio. The event is dedicated to families with children aged 3 to 12, offering a full day of shows, entertainment, and activities set against the vibrant colors of the seasonal foliage, spanning from the tree-lined avenues to the Farm and the green labyrinth.
Magic, Theatre, and Soap Bubbles
Throughout the day, two face-painting stations will be active to delight younger guests. The entertainment kicks off at 10:00 AM with a magic show by Mago Righello, who will later roam among the visitors with sleight of hand and balloon artistry. At 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM, the theatrical performance “Piccolo Piccolissimo Giardino” will engage children aged 2 to 6, highlighting the importance of green spaces in urban environments.
Other highlights include “Opera Guitta” at 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM, a show blending circus, clowning, and melodrama as a tribute to the great arias of Donizetti, Mozart, Rossini, and Verdi. The roving spectacle “Carillon,” featuring a white piano and a ballerina, will traverse the park at 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 4:00 PM. Additionally, the “Guarda Come Bolla” soap bubble show and the acrobatic performance “Omino Blu” promise to captivate audiences of all ages.
Pedal Karts, Ponies, and Inflatables
Beyond the shows, children aged 5 to 10 can participate in a road safety course using pedal karts, organized in collaboration with the Local Police, earning a special license upon completion. For those aged 6 to 12, the “Battesimo della Sella” offers a first horse-riding experience on ponies, complete with a certificate. A dedicated inflatable area with age-appropriate attractions rounds out a perfect autumn day outdoors.
