Domenica di Carta in Salò will offer a unique glimpse into military history on Sunday, October 4. The Fondazione Museo Storico del Nastro Azzurro will open its archival heritage to the public for Domenica di Carta (Paper Sunday), a national initiative promoted by the Ministry of Culture to encourage the discovery of historical archives.
National Propaganda and War History
The event, which is entirely free, will begin at 3:00 PM at the Salò Civic Library on Via Leonesio. Visitors will be guided through a curated exhibition of historical documents, photographs, posters, and prints that narrate the history of “National Propaganda and Wars” from 1848 to 1945.
The guided tour will be led by the museum’s director, Emanuele Cerutti, who will provide historical context for the Foundation’s vast collection. The items on display will include letters, illustrated postcards, pamphlets, periodicals, and administrative records from various wartime periods. To participate in the event, mandatory reservations must be made through the local Infopoint (phone: 0365 21423).
