The week of 26 to 29 October 2026 at Lake Garda brings the final evening of Catullo in Love in Sirmione, the international wine tourism marketplace in Riva del Garda and the Festa del Bollito e pearà (boiled meats and pearà sauce) in Bussolengo. Autumn exhibitions and Halloween activities for children continue around the lake, alongside theatre, cinema and cultural events.

Events running all week
Lonato del Garda. The food trail “La Taöla del Contadì – la tavola del contadino” (the farmer’s table), dedicated to Lonato’s farming traditions, runs until 1 November. At 17:00 the Santuario di San Martino hosts “Voci a San Martino” with the Coro Anima Vocis and the Gruppo Corale Maranina, from 18 October to 15 November. The Lunaria 5.1 theatre season continues until 13 December. At the cultural centre “La stazione”, the karate game-sport course is at 16:00 and the sewing course at 18:30, until 6 November.
Sirmione. The Lake Garda Photo Challenge, a photography contest dedicated to the lake, is open until 31 October and includes six competitions over twelve months. Until 30 October the old town hosts Pietra&Co 2026. Intelligenza naturale, a diffuse art trail curated by the Consorzio Marmisti Bresciani (the Brescia marble makers’ consortium) and the municipality. Until 8 November Palazzo Callas Exhibitions presents the exhibition Wound | Ferita, dedicated to the 2025 Sirmione Photography Prize. At the town library the MICI Strada courses continue: on Tuesday the second class of level one runs from 19:00 to 20:00 and the third from 20:15 to 21:15; on Wednesday the first class of level one runs from 19:00 to 20:00 and the first class of level two from 20:15 to 21:15. The library’s reading group, the Sirmione Book Club Classic, is dedicated to “Finché durerà la terra” by Giovanni Grasso and meets from 20:45 to 22:45, with a calendar starting on 23 October.
Gargnano. Filming of Murder on Lake Garda takes place in the waters off the town from 08:00 to 19:00 every day, from 5 October to 7 November. Until 31 October the Pro Loco (local tourist association), together with the Progetto Genitori and the municipality, offers Halloween in Gargnano for children and teenagers, free and open to all; on Saturday 31 October the meeting point is at 16:00 in Piazza Feltrinelli. From 25 October to 21 November, at 16:30, the series “Le forme della bellezza – Dialoghi dell’immaginario” brings music and art under the direction of Silvia Merigo and Monica Cipani: free entry, booking required.
Toscolano Maderno. The Alto Garda Bresciano Park’s tourism events bring music, food and traditions to the Riviera dei Limoni from April to December, with the meeting time set at 17:30.
Limone sul Garda. The treasure hunt “Un tesoro di lago” is open until 30 October, starting from the Info Point in via Caldogno, where the map is on sale.
Riva del Garda. DiVin Ottobre continues until 31 October. The auditorium of the Comunità Alto Garda e Ledro hosts “Ottobre a teatro”, a series of dialect plays, also until 31 October.
Valeggio sul Mincio. The Autumn Festival at Parco Giardino Sigurtà celebrates the foliage until 15 November. Until the same date children can follow the Sigillo Spezzato, a six-stage game trail.
Theme parks. In Castelnuovo del Garda, Gardaland offers PREDA until 1 November. In Lazise, Movieland Park’s Halloween period also runs until 1 November.
Food and health. From 12 October to 13 December, participating restaurants serve the Menù del territorio of Cibo di Mezzo: thirteen venues from Lake Sebino to Lake Garda. In Moniga del Garda, prevention days with free, anonymous tests for HIV, hepatitis C and syphilis continue until 1 December.
Monday 26 October
In Sirmione at 18:00, at the Hotel Catullo (piazza Flaminia 7), Catullo in Love closes with the talk by Giordani Signori, “Tra ulivi e viti. L’altro volto di Sirmione, la trasformazione di una comunità” (olive groves and vines, the other face of Sirmione); information and bookings are available at the hotel. At 21:00 the town library hosts a meeting with US Rovizza, “Sport scuola di vita” (sport as a school of life), part of the series “Le associazioni al tuo fianco”.
In Peschiera del Garda, Porta Brescia hosts “Colori da Vivere” by the artist Franco Forante until 27 October, from 10:00 to 18:00, with free entry. In Torri del Benaco, the Hotel Due Torri offers a Yoga and breakfast experience.
Tuesday 27 October
In Riva del Garda, the Quartiere Fieristico (via Baltera 20) hosts FINE #WineTourism Marketplace Italy on 27 and 28 October, from 09:00 to 18:00, with one hundred exhibitors from across Italy and abroad, 30% more than the previous edition. On Tuesday Jean-Daniel Debart, president of the Office de Tourisme du Grand Saint-Émilionnais, presents the development of the French wine region, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999.
At 17:30 the civic library offers “Le dodici lune della poesia. Un viaggio tra gli arcani e il canto delle donne” (the twelve moons of poetry, a journey through the tarot arcana and women’s song), a poetry reading group with Stefania Santoni, free with booking.
In San Felice del Benaco the Cooperativa Agricola celebrates its eightieth anniversary, founded on 27 October 1946. The cooperative has over 400 members, about 320 hectares of olive groves and more than 71 thousand trees. In Dro, from 20:00 to 21:30, “Dai leggiamo!” is a free workshop on reading aloud and storytelling.
Wednesday 28 October
In Toscolano Maderno at 20:45 the last evening of the Cineforum d’Autunno closes the film series on family ties, held on Wednesdays 7, 14, 21 and 28 October. In Brenzone sul Garda, in the village of Castelletto, the theatre series Su il sipario si apre presents “Robe da matti” at 20:30 in the hall of the Garda Family House.
