On Sunday, November 24, 2024, the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera will host an extraordinary event that celebrates not only crime literature but also the contribution of women to Italian television. The **Giallo Garda Festival**, in collaboration with the Festival L’Eredità delle Donne and the presentation of the book “Irresistibili. 70 Women Who Made the Small Screen Great” by author and journalist Aldo Dalla Vecchia, is part of a program dedicated to **female empowerment**.

This meeting is part of the OFF Program of the Eredità delle Donne, now in its seventh edition and directed by Serena Dandini. This festival aims to support the emancipation and enhancement of the female role in society, featuring over 423 events scheduled from November 22 to 24 across Italy, extending to cities like Budapest and São Paulo, Brazil.

The **Giallo Garda Festival**, included in the OFF Program for the first time, celebrates an important milestone this year: the tenth anniversary of its literary award. The presentation of Aldo Dalla Vecchia’s book will feature the participation of festival president Laura Marsadri and publisher Lorenzo Bernasconi of Isenzatregua Edizioni, which has already initiated a reprint of the book following its successful reception.

**”Irresistibili”** is a tribute to the women who have shaped the first seventy years of Italian television, both in front of and behind the cameras. Celebrated figures include historical names such as Alda Grimaldi, the first female director at Rai, Wilma De Angelis, and Maria Perego, alongside contemporary icons like Maria De Filippi and Milly Carlucci. Each chapter is enriched with personal memories from the author and images created using Artificial Intelligence.

The book also features a foreword by renowned journalist Silvana Giacobini, acknowledged for her contribution to the Italian television landscape. This event thus represents not only a significant cultural moment but also a celebration of the strength and influence of women in the media world.
