Regional Councillor Claudia Carzeri has recently introduced an initiative aimed at promoting family well-being in Lombardy through parental coaching courses. During the last Regional Council meeting, Carzeri emphasized the importance of the family as the primary sphere of socialization and highlighted how coaching can support parents in their educational role. The initiative seeks to address the challenges faced by certain families, particularly those in vulnerable situations, and aims to teach fundamental values such as mutual respect and gender equality.
Furthermore, the Regional Minister for Family Affairs, Elena Lucchini, expressed her support for the initiative, stating that providing assistance to families is a priority for the region. Through the enhancement of Family Centers and projects like “Up – Growing Great,” the goal is to prevent youth distress and improve family dynamics. The parental coaching project fits into a broader context of targeted interventions aimed at supporting parenthood and promoting healthy family relationships.
