Motorway A4 incident: roadworks and traffic jams in Montebello
An A4 motorway accident occurred on February 10, involving two trucks between the Montebello and Soave toll booths, which knocked down the guardrail. The incident was reported around 10:00 PM, and the drivers were promptly assisted by Suem 118 and subsequently transported to the hospital; fortunately, their conditions do not appear to be serious.
Currently, work is underway to secure the roadway and restore the guardrail, with traffic limited to just two lanes. This situation has caused long queues, particularly during peak hours. The Fire Brigade has been operating on-site with teams from Verona and Vicenza to manage the emergency alongside the motorway staff. The news is still developing as the situation is being monitored.
