Pathological narcissism and emotional manipulation are very current and socially relevant topics. To delve deeper into these issues, on Friday, April 5th at 8:45 pm, there will be an open meeting at the Corallo Theater in Bardolino, led by psychoanalyst Laura Pigozzi.
The event, organized by the Department of Culture in collaboration with the foundation La casa dei sogni onlus, will feature the participation of actors Susanna Zampieri and Raffaello Bertolini, who will perform scenes to illustrate the mechanisms of emotional manipulation. In addition, Nicholas Bragantini will play the cello to accompany the meeting.
Emotional manipulation is a subtle form of psychological violence that can be exerted by individuals with pathological narcissistic traits. These individuals seek to control and dominate their partners through manipulative strategies that undermine the other person’s self-esteem and freedom.
