A 13-year-old boy was struck by a car in Castiglione delle Stiviere as he was leaving school on Tuesday, November 5, shortly after 1 PM. The incident occurred on via Solferino, where the young boy was crossing the street and was hit by a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old woman. Emergency responders from 118 arrived quickly with an ambulance and a medical car to assess the boy’s condition.
The 13-year-old was transported in yellow code to the pediatric department of the Civil Hospital in Brescia, but fortunately, he is not reported to be in life-threatening condition. The Carabinieri from the Radiomobile unit also arrived at the scene to conduct the necessary investigations and determine whether the boy was on the pedestrian crossing at the time of the incident.
