A collision in Pozzolengo involved a 28-year-old motorcyclist, who is in serious condition following a head-on crash with a van that occurred on Tuesday, May 12, in the Bosco area, a narrow road surrounded by countryside and vineyards. The young man sustained multiple injuries, including fractures to his femur, ankle, tibia, and fibula. After the incident, he was airlifted and transported to the Civil Hospital under yellow code; however, his condition has worsened, and he is currently in critical condition.
The authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident with the help of the Polstrada officers from Salò. The driver of the van, a 56-year-old man residing in Pozzolengo, sustained only minor injuries and was taken to the Poliambulanza. The intervention of the Fire Brigade proved crucial for the rescue operations and securing the area.
