ANFFAS DESENZANO EXPANDS ITS SERVICES WITH THE INAUGURATION OF THE FOURTH DAY CENTER Yesterday, Saturday, May 24, the fourth Day Center managed by the ANFFAS Desenzano Foundation was inaugurated at the former Red Cross site on Via Durighello. This new facility represents a significant advancement in the network of services for individuals with disabilities, addressing a growing need within the community. With this opening, the overall capacity of the service increases from 73 to 83 places, thanks to the spaces provided by the municipal administration and an investment of over 150,000 euros.
The inauguration was attended by users, families, staff, and local authorities, highlighting the importance of social inclusion. The Foundation already operates two Day Centers for individuals with disabilities and a Socio-Educational Center; however, demand has led to a significant waiting list for the CSE. This new center not only expands the care offerings but also sends a clear message: no one should be left behind. With this achievement, ANFFAS Desenzano continues to promote real opportunities for all.
