The literary festival “Words on Water” returns to Bardolino after a five-year hiatus. The event will take place from June 20 to 22 along the shores of the lake, featuring the participation of eight nationally recognized authors. Organized by the Cultural Department of the Municipality in collaboration with the Bardolino Top Foundation, the festival aims to promote reading and culture, offering free events to the public. Activities will be held at the Villa Carrara Bottagisio park, while in case of bad weather, they will be moved to the Teatro Corallo.
The program includes a series of significant presentations: on June 20, Matteo Righetto will discuss his book “The Call of the Mountain,” followed by Giuseppina Torre with “A Plan to Rebirth.” On June 21, Marco Varvello will talk about “London, the Places of Power,” while Teresa Ciabatti and Niko Cutugno will present their works in the afternoon and evening. Finally, on June 22, Antonella Viola will open the day with “The Revolution of Care,” followed by Marco Rossari and Giulia Ligresti, who will close the festival. The discussions will be moderated by Emma D’Aquino and Alberto Faustini, with Mayor Daniele Bertasi highlighting the cultural significance of the initiative.
