Burglary in Montichiari: two minors arrested
Two minors were arrested in Montichiari following an attempted burglary that occurred in the late afternoon. Taking advantage of the darkness and the absence of the homeowners, the youths forced open the front door of an apartment using burglary tools. However, the surveillance system connected to an alarm triggered a notification to the Carabinieri, who responded promptly.
Shortly after, the two minors were located near the town center, still in possession of part of the stolen goods and the tools used for the break-in. During the identification process, they provided false information regarding their age, but medical examinations ordered by the authorities confirmed their actual culpability. Both were subsequently arrested for burglary in collaboration, charged with unlawful possession of burglary tools and making false statements to a public official, and were transferred to a care facility.
