The Italian Formula 18 Championship will take place on July 26 and 27, 2025 at the Univela sailing center in Campione del Garda, where F18 class catamarans will compete in a highly anticipated national regatta, open to international crews as well. This event attracts sailors from various countries, including Germany, Finland, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and Denmark, promising an adrenaline-filled competition in one of the most iconic locations for sailing in Europe.
More than 20 crews will participate, featuring prominent names such as Marco Gambardella and Felice Cupane, Andrea and Matteo Viganò, Giovanni Fantasia, and Gabriele Bianchi. The Formula 18 class is renowned for its high performance, thanks to the combination of power and lightweight design of the catamarans. This championship represents an important opportunity for emerging sailors to showcase their skills in a competitive setting that has already seen the rise of talents destined for the highest levels of global sailing.
