The CentoMiglia, a historic sailing regatta, is gearing up to celebrate its 75th edition on September 6 and 7, 2025, organized by the Circolo Vela Gargnano. This event, which stands as one of the longest-running offshore competitions on inland waters in Italy, invites all boats and enthusiasts to register online. Among the new features introduced for the 2025 edition, the adoption of the ORC regulations for the overall ranking stands out, making the competition fairer and more accessible. Additionally, in collaboration with UVAI, financial incentives are being offered for the issuance of ORC certificates for small boats.
In addition to the events on the water, those on land promise to enhance the audience’s experience. It will be possible to follow the GPS tracking of the regatta on a large screen in Piazza di Bogliaco and participate in cultural moments such as film screenings and live concerts. The event aims to unite sports and the local area, celebrating not only sailing but also the communities surrounding the lake. With a history that dates back to 1951, the Lake Garda regatta continues to be a landmark for sailing enthusiasts.
