Lights, Music, and Christmas Atmosphere
Christmas in Salò will officially kick off on Sunday, December 1, with the eagerly awaited ceremony for the lighting of the Christmas decorations, accompanied by traditional carols and the enchanting presence of “Light Angels” who will animate the historic center and lakeside promenade. This event will mark the beginning of a period rich in performances and activities, including concerts and roaming performances, featuring local musical groups and cultural associations.
Santa Claus Village and Design Market
One of the most beloved attractions for children will undoubtedly be the Santa Claus Village, which will open under the portico of the Town Hall, offering a magical place where the little ones can experience the enchantment of the holidays. For those seeking unique and high-quality gifts, the Christmas Design Market in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II will showcase a selection of handcrafted creations, perfect for those wishing to give original and sustainable presents.
Tradition and Culture with Concerts and Guided Tours
In the spirit of tradition and culture, Salò will also host special concerts, such as the gospel concert on December 24 in Piazza Vittoria and the concert of the Salò City Band on December 26 at the Cinema Teatro Cristal. For history and art enthusiasts, thematic guided tours will be organized to lead participants in discovering the historic sites of Salò, from traces of the town’s past to the works of the Magnificent Cathedral.
