A police operation has led to the arrest of a caretaker in Desenzano del Garda, involved in the drug dealing of cocaine within the local cemetery. The thirty-year-old was caught in the act while conducting drug exchanges with several buyers, thanks to targeted surveillance by law enforcement that had been monitoring the area for some time. During the intervention, officers discovered a latex glove containing various heat-sealed packages of cocaine and a sum of cash, believed to be the proceeds of illegal activity.
The investigation revealed that the caretaker was hiding additional doses at his home and in the cemetery’s storage areas. In total, 38 doses of cocaine were seized, including seven packages found at his residence and 26 doses concealed under a shelf. The man, already known to the authorities, was arrested in the act for drug trafficking.
