Start of the agreement and participants

On the day of June 1996 entry, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which lasts two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the realization of the ^’ initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Activities and planned objectives

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Social transports and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
