Start of the agreement and participants

On the end of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in ^’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiatives amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Activities and expected objectives

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
