Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the socially most disadvantaged individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces took part in ’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of senior citizens and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of’ the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
