Community Collaboration in Cornuda Supports Vulnerable Residents with €100K Project
Start of the agreement and participants
On the day of June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be strengthened.
