Community Collaboration Launches Support Program for Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the salon of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
