Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda Initiative

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Social transportation, as well as listening and gathering centers, will also be enhanced.
