Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda Initiative

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Community resources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
