Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services will also be enhanced, along with listening centers and gathering places.

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a key role in the’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
