Community Initiative Supports Elderly and Disabled in Cornuda

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting socially disadvantaged individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the quality of life for elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Transportation services, social services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
