Community Partnership Launched to Support Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project supporting the socially most vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which lasts two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European grants.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
