Regional Initiative Supports Vulnerable Elderly in Cornuda

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighbourhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for categories most in need.

Social transport and services will also be strengthened, along with listening and gathering centers.
