Community Partnership Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total funding allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Furthermore, social transport services, support centers, and gathering and listening centers will be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
l’ Municipal Administration has committed to supporting initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
