Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the end of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project to support the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in ^’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total funds allocated for the implementation of ^’ the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
