Community Support Project Launch in Cornuda to Aid Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of entry, June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the ’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
