Community Support Project Launches in Cornuda to Aid Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially disadvantaged individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, with a duration of two years, specifically seeks to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union sources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for categories most in need.
Transportation services, social transport, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
