Cornuda Social Welfare Project Launched to Support Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Quartiere Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be strengthened.
