Cornuda Collaborates on Social Support Project for Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project to support the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
