Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Aims at Supporting Vulnerable Groups

Start of the agreement and participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and meeting centers will be established.
