Cornuda Community Initiative Supports Vulnerable Residents with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially weaker individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Transportation services, social services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
