Cornuda Launches €100K Initiative for Social Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, is primarily aimed at improving the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union grants.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
