Cornuda Launches €100K Program for Vulnerable Elderly and Disabled Residents
On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of’ the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services will also be enhanced, along with listening and gathering centers.
