Cornuda Launches €100K Social Support Project for Vulnerable Groups

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
