Cornuda Launches €100K Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which lasts two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total allocated amount for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
