Cornuda Launches €100K Support Project for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Goals

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration committed to supporting the initiatives by providing supervision and coordinating among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
