Cornuda Launches Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents in 1996
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the target groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
