Local Social Inclusion Initiative Launches in Cornuda with EU Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and EU grants.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Social transportation will be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
