Cornuda Launches Two-Year Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of the local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funding allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most disadvantaged groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project seeks to promote social integration and enhance the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.
