Cornuda Social Convention Supports Vulnerable Residents Through Local Partnerships

On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the lounge of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable people in society.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in ’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be strengthened.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
l Comune Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, providing surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
