Start of the Convention and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association and various voluntary organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Transportation services will also be enhanced and listening and gathering centers established.
