On early June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weakest groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers established.
